BECOMING A “SIMPLE CHURCH”
You have heard the term since last September - the Elders and other leaders have prayerfully discussed
how we can prepare for future growth by applying the Simple Church design.
It all begins with the JOURNEY of spiritual growth that every believer takes.
On the 4 Sundays in January you will hear about the 4 steps of the Journey that will become
the focus of MCBC life. The steps are:
- WORSHIP- experiencing a vital personal and corporate relationship with Jesus Christ
- COMMUNITY- participating in meaningful relationships with other believers
- DISCIPLESHIP- training in the knowledge of the Word practice of spiritual disciplines
- SERVICE- extending the grace of God to others in need
We encourage each of you to come prepared to hear from the Word and the Spirit
how we can become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ in every area of our lives.
We have incredible opportunities to reach our ‘local’ world and our ‘global’ world for Jesus Christ.
Join us in visioning about the future as we keep in step with the Spirit’s work in Mississauga.
